This is an expanded version of our catamaran raft building event where the teams only get a very brief set of informations and have to find out together with their team how a raft could be built. They then present their ideas in plenary, decide over practicability and viability to then put their ideas into practice. Subsequently the group has to get organised and put the material together correctly and according to their plan. Team related thinking and communication are essential as well as a talent to improvise and some good hands on practice.
Depending on time the programme can be expanded with more team tasks before they hit the water and try out their rafts and all the well-earned fun that goes with it. Each training part is accompanied and coached through our specialised guides who will also help reflecting and finish off with a feedback round.
The event is designed to encourage and promote project management, social competence, efficiency, integration capacity, mutual respect and last but not least implementation capacity. Never mind all the “serious matters” the event should remain playful. It’s about learning and deepen practices in a relaxed manner and surrounding. It’s sharing a leisurly time together and a good deal of laughter that form a close-knit team.

At the proposed locations on Lake Lucerne, Lake Lauerz and Lake Zug, the costs for the transport of the raft building material, the permits as well as the place rentals are included in the price. At other locations this will be charged depending on the effort.
Extras: Entrance fees to Lido if required (e.g. lake resort Lido Lucerne approx. CHF 8.00/pers.)Costs for travel / transport / permits / space rental / reconnaissance of the embarkation and disembarkation points at your proposed location.
Availability: Catamaran events can be organised all around Switzerland. Most suitable locations however are the following:
- Camping Buchenhof, Steinen (Lauerzersee)
- Rachmaniov-Quai, Weggis (Vierwaldstättersee)
- Seebad Lido, Luzern (Vierwaldstättersee)
- Maggia Delta, Locarno/Ascona (Lago Maggiore)
- Figino (lake Lugano)
Group size: The minimum number of participants are 8 adults. For smaller groups the flat rate for the minimum participants applies. Maximum group size to be can be discussed and depends on aim and scope of the event.
Requirements: Basic swimming of advantage but not essential. More important are open mindedness and the willingness to explore new grounds
Bring along: Comfortable outdoor wear adjusted to the weather (T-shirt, jumper, shorts/pants, sneakers/sport shoes), swimming costumes/pants, towel, sun cream, sunglasses, hat), raingear.
